Aquí va un grupo polémico como pocos Death in june. De marcada estética e influencia militar, nace de la mano de Douglas P., Patrick Leagas y Tony Wakeford. (exs – miembros de Crisis**, un grupo de punk británico) combinando elementos electrónicos con el sonido oscuro, depresivo y decadente de los Joy division, aunque posteriormente experimentarían mucho con su música…Pero no adelantemos acontecimientos.
Para escuchar este grupo hay que dejar de lado los posibles perjuicios que se tengan, ya que la estética, simbología y letras son, en el mejor caso, ambiguas.
Recuerdo haber escuchado sobre una entrevista que hicieron a Douglas sobre el significado de sus letras…el contesto que todas sus letras iban relacionadas con los sentimientos humanos…y que para el, el periodo más extremo de la historia había sido la II guerra mundial…De ahí su marcada atracción por esta época y su historia.
Algunas personas reniegan de su música, simplemente por su estética, a otros no le gusta su música, pero al que escribe estas líneas le apasionan…y espero haberte despertado la curiosidad sobre el grupo, así que continua leyendo.
